I have to admit, the new Air looks awesome. I guess the unibodi case is brilliant.
I was in the process ordering an 11" online the very first day, but then I realized they use a glossy display. Are you kidding? Seriously?

For everyone looking for something similar, but with a non glossy display and decent hardware, everything I found was the Lenovo X201s. Everyone else has either outdated hardware or a glossy display. But just compare the price and tell me again Apple doesn't ridiculously overcharge you.

Oh, and whoeverr doesn't care about the hardware, just let me state this:

Lenovo: 1440×900 matte, 1.1kg - up to 11 hours battery life
Air: 1366 x 768 glossy, 1.06kg - up to 5 hours battery life

That's not apple bashing, I wanted to buy one. But those bastards did put an glossy display in it which is beyond stupid. I had to look for alternatives and got confirmed it once again that you pay only for the looks and the name at apple and they literally rob you for that. Just one thing that somehow justifies the price.
To find that X201s, I went trough hours of research, hardware knowledge, a lot of patience and frustration.
To get an apple would have been very relaxing and easy going.

I'm looking for a new laptop as well as my Sony vaio f series just got stolen. How does the MacBook pro 13in compare to this one I play poker like 50 hours a week and average about 7 tables at once while running hmanager pokerdb and a couple of other stuff. So basically I'm looking for a computer that will last me a long time with a good video card that is very good at multitasking. MacBook pro seems to fit all these needs but the screen is smaller than my old vaio also is there any other laptop u would recommend.

Also I used windows exclusively for 6 yrs idk if that will be a problem.
