I am using Outlook 2007. I have an email account with Cox (my ISP) that I've used forever and also an account with Gmail that I use rarely.

At home, everything works fine and I can send/receive email with Outlook because I am logged in to my ISP. When I am out on the road, I cannot send email from my Cox account because I am not on their SMTP server. In order to send email from my Cox account when I'm not at home, I have to use their webmail which is annoying as I have to remember to BCC myself if I want to retain a copy, etc.

I have heard people say that it's possible to configure Outlook to use Gmail's server to send emails using my Cox email address, but still have the "reply to" address be my Cox email address, so when clients reply it goes to my Cox address.

Anyone know how to set this up?

Add the GMAIL server as the outgoing with the authentication info needed - then go to the account settings and click change > click the advanced button > should be a box that lets you put the reply-to address in it.

Oh, that's easier than I thought it would be. I'll give that a try, thanks
