Hey guys. I used to be a member here but I can't retrieve my old email so I've decided to create a new account.

I need you guys help. I can't connect to my winamax account on my PC. Tablet and Mac works fine.

What happens is: I Open the app, put down my info. Press Log in. It tanks for 30-60 seconds and gives back "Server Timeout" every time.

I've exhausted the options I could come up with.

- Uninstalled, removed all filed, re-installed.
- Checked my firewall settings, allowed Winamax to connect.
- Turned off my firewall briefly.
- Yes, I rebooted.
- I had a friend send me an install file from his (working) PC
- I've re-installed flash.
- Watched firewall and flash tutorials on youtube (sad)

My guess is that it still has something to do with flash but I can't make out what the problem is so here I am reaching out further on the www.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think some troubleshooting might be useful to find where the blockage is.

They have different versions of their software on their website listed here, including a no-download version:

Do other versions of the software work for you on your home PC/home network? Can you use the no-download version on your PC? Can you use the mobile version on your mobile device on your home network?

Brooo, I logged in via the NO-DL. Tried connecting again with the PC app and it's working! Thank you so very much for your help.

I'm glad that this all worked for you, but I doubt that there was anything that I did to fix it. It seems more likely that there was just some sort of weird temporary IP routing problem somewhere between your PC and Winamax's servers.
