Two monitors will give you more pixels for cheaper than one bigger monitor.

My starting point would be to go to Dell (not sure what country you're in) and just get the cheapest monitor which has at least 1200 pixels vertically (ie, 1920x1200, or higher resolution). That would allow you to display up to 8 tables at default resolution (800 pixels wide x 570 pixels high) and still have a task bar displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Here's a reasonable starting point: https://www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/moni...2586,2585,2583

i always struggled grinding the tables on the 2nd monitor. ended up just using it for browsing lobbies and random stuff and had the first monitor for tables.

i had the 30inch dell like 2550x1500 ish reso just max the resolution and size the tables however u want can easily grind 6 Tables.

My laptop had trouble when I used its monitor and an outer monitor and Youtube at the same time, though it might be a heat issue as laptop can have issues there as I read, so will see if I am not too lazy some day to retest. Then need to think of how high the monitors need to be. Dont think my 28" is high enough, so would help to buy another one like 32" but would need two of them, if I do the test and measure the needed area and consider that two monitors need more distance than one, that increases the need for size. So, a 32" doesnt look like large enough and the big monitors probably cost too much.

More likely will try a quality 50" TV and see how it goes; need to see the cards mainly, and the only reason for that big, instead of some 40", is that sites dont offer bigger cards, and the accuracy is less than in a monitor, and making sure I can comfortably play four tables from my easychair.

And if not good, I use it as my new TV. I recommend Sony as it isnt known to burn the picture on your TV like the Korean cheaper TVs are reported to do, as they are additionally TVs and not monitors. I think 400 to 500 euros will do, and if it burns, then it burns, though it can take many years, so wont be able to comment on that but much later.

One would be the first poker player to have ever commented for real on the TV vs monitor issue. There could be some prize one gets like 500 euros, as it is an important investigation, so why should one guy do it for free for all the rest? But whatever, as I might have to do it anyway, I might as well give a comment about it some day somewhere, like on a Finnish poker forum, until I opt for two monitors -- but I dont have the brains to get them both connected as it needs one to think -- or opt to use a tablet or tablets instead, as I am looking for lower rake sites, and dont know where to play at this time.

I use a 40" cheapo no name 4k tv and you can squeeze in 16 tables big enough that you can see the cards/stacks/bet sizes on pokerstars over a normal viewing distance, no need to get close and squint
if you go much bigger than 40", I think you may find it difficult to comfortably use it on normal sized desk because you'll have to be turning your head left and right to see the whole screen, i.e. 50" is a big gigantic for use on a desk imo

This is a function of the TV technology, not the brand.

If you use a LCD/LED tv, you won't get burn-in.

You might get burn-in if you use an OLED or Plasma screen.

Here is another one that wants to buy a screen, does anyone know how many tables fit on each of the sizes mentioned? This will help to make a decision
