Most sites have mac clients but some of the time they are underdeveloped, e.g. no hotkeys (party). While there is pokertracker and pokercopilot for mac you‘ll be missing compatibility with other software you might wanna use like caption, HM, h2n. stars mac client is great, gg probably good too, party halfassed, others have mac too which are just as bad as their windows. all in all playing on mac has probably never been better but also still not every possibility out there

I see what you mean, I could invest in a cheap desktop I guess if it comes to it. Surely running poker clients and software isn't going to cost me anything crazy.

was about to buy a mac mini and bulk it up with third party components but eventually got me a strong ass AMD pc, more or less to have hotkeys while grinding, and im pretty happy with it. still hate windows 10. only use it to play, have a second ssd with kubuntu linux, which is actually a wonderful, complete OS with 485mb ram use, to run sims and store data and do office stuff. so you can have unix and windows if really needed in one machine

What kind of Spec would be needed to run PIO sims?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Optiplex-i7...5540082&sr=8-4

something like this would do the job for occasional use
would be better if you found a model with 32gb ram and a slightly newer i7, 3rd or 4th gen for ~400 quid (make sure it has an ssd if you don't want to put in your own)
~400$ is what those go for on Amazon.com
