Looking for some Best VPN Service Looking for some Best VPN Service

Hello all,

Anyone here familiar with the use of a VPN? I am looking for some recommendations and especially a VPN that would work with Netflix and torrents and BBC iPlayer.

I am skeptical to go for any free vpn as I don't even know if it would work for the purpose.

TIA

Hey yes I have used many for streaming purpose mostly. The best thing now is that you can get discounts. [[DELETED URL]] you can check the features of any vpn here. The prices are right in front of you, make the best purchase.

I'm pretty sure 2+2 doesn't allow requests for help circumventing copyright protection measures.

they don't allow discussion of completely lawful VPN use either, for instance I'm in a midwestern state and VPNing through a server in the same state most of the time, certainly don't think i'm doing anything illegal whatsoever if i want to play US friendly sites from the US while on a VPN but a tech support question about a vpn/pokersite interaction was deleted.

I wouldn't be annoyed enough to post (i mentioned in the post itself that mods could feel free to edit or delete it if they didnt want to create a reference of how to resolve the issue) but the post got deleted with no courtesy notification that it was or why, and then when i posted to ask if it was deleted or a submission error someone basically accused me of doing something illegal, so here goes......

owning a gun doesn't mean you are going to use it for anything illegal. same thing with a VPN, just a perfectly legal means of internet self defense. If you dont care about privacy or added security, thats your right. but you are out of line if you insinuate wrongdoing on the part of anyone who does and who uses a VPN to protect themselves against unwanted intrusion.

I had already been thinking about it so I moved abroad to play after black Friday and had a much more intersting few years than i would have otherwise, (thanks for the encouragement DOJ?). Now that im back in the states, If I play poker I play US friendly sites. I dont VPN to misrepresent my location to play on stars etc. I haven't Ever used a VPN to get around geolock.

I started using a VPN mostly because **** the data aggregation machine and Im sure as hell not going to be the lowest hanging fruit for the next widespread hack/theft/data breach, and a VPN is a far easier step than the many others i've taken to make myself a hard target. there's alot of data stored on my computer and data that could be collected about me based on my internet usage that no one has a right to but me.

Now, i don't want to Usurp anyone's sense of moral superiority here, but its overdue that the poker community grows up and learns to respect peoples right to take steps to protect their privacy and security and not accuse people of doing anything illegal just because they choose to use a VPN.

Not everyone who VPNs is pretending to live in a different country trying to bypass regional restrictions on player base, just like not everyone uses the word Usurp correctly. Some do, some don't. This doesn't make them good or bad people, it just means they used a word in a cringe-worthy manner. a very forgivable but noticeable mistake, especially in the context of wrongfully accusing me of acting unlawfully or unethically.

I understand deleting the post, i don't take issue with reasons you could have expressed for doing so. i take issue with the specific words and ideas you erroneously applied when doing so.

What happened when you asked the mods in the subforum it was deleted from?

This is primarily a poker site. We are happy to answer what technical questions we can but it has been decided that 2+2 won't be involved in IP theft or bypassing poker sites rules. This means we didn't allow talk about torrents when they were popular even though there are legitimate uses for them. Likewise, while there are legitimate uses for VPN software the primary use of it on 2+2 is for people to bypass geographic boundaries for poker sites. So we don't talk about them here either. You'll have to use the google to get your questions answered.
