hi, I have 2 spare hard drives that im prob going to try and sell on ebay, both drives were from brand new laptops that I removed when replacing with an ssd, im 99% sure I didnt enter any information or use these hard drives but to be sure I would like to wipe them clean/reset windows to factory conditions, the problem I have is I only have one laptop and getting access to the hard drive is very ackward and tricky so dont really want to do it that way, is there a way of me being able to connect these hard drives to my laptop and then wiping this way with something like this

if this works for connecting the hard drive can I then wipe it using my current computer without losing anything on my ssd thats inside the latop?

Yeah those work fine. Make sure it's the right size (2.5 for laptop drives usually). It'll just show as a USB drive which you can format without affecting your ssd.

Use a tool like dban to wipe them clean.
