I'm a multi-table grinder, and I used to play with two hands (one for the mouse + one for hotkeys and betsizing).
I recently had an accident and broke the arm I use for clicking. My fingers are weak, and I can't rotate my hand. I don't want to miss a few months of poker, so it seems I have to try using my left hand only.

How can I figure this out?
Has anyone been in a similar situation in the past?

they make mice for people with disabilities, you can look into those.


You can also get one of those nice gaming mouses with a bunch of buttons for your hotkeys and learn to use your other hand for everything.

I'm playing at GG poker, here no mice/mouse hotkeys, only keyboard... sadly.

I haven't played in recent years, but I formerly played using a single hand using a numeric keypad and hotkeys:

/ = all-in
* = fold
- = call
+ = raise

Had the cursor automatically move to the active table which worked smoothly for me, I was playing up to 8 tables of Rush poker at a time - I can't understand how anyone ever used a mouse for mass-multi-tabling.

Mouse Keys can be rebound to click any keyboard key. This can be done in multiple ways, for example Razer delivers own Software Bundle or you can use simple AutoHotKey Scripts and many other ways.

Buy ambidextrous mouse (which can be used lef/right handed) and train, there will be a learning curve, cut some tables. Add more tables as soon your left Hand gets more precise. Rebind most important Hotkeys to Mouse Buttons.

Are you sure that its legit at GG poker?
Their rules are pretty nazi about any 3rd party software, i dont want to break the TOS.

I don't know much about the specific of the rules of that site, but if the rules prohibit you from making reasonable accommodations for your disability, then it is a jackass of a poker site which is in flagrant breach of the laws that apply in any developed nation.

I would be interested to see how someone is able to press a button on a keyboard that is mapped to call, but is unable to move a mouse cursor over a call button and click the mouse

There's a chunk of people in our society who do not have fine motor skills in their wrist/elbow, but who have fully functioning fingers. When I led the bot detection teams at PokerStars, this was a recurring issue, not at all unusual or odd.

Some issues are temporary, some are permanent. A quick search on the internet suggests somewhere between 3% and 7% of Western adults, your results and sources may vary.
