Hi,

I went to open the 888 poker client yesterday and as I did it forced me to a software update which I did, as it was doing this my avast antivirus went nuts and came up with this (sorry don't know how to paste the photos directly)



the update then seemed to stop but when I double click on the poker client it doesn't open, it just hangs and does nothing, so I tried to uninstall the software using revo and got the following error code



so now I cant open or uninstall the poker client, have emailed 888 but haven't received a reply and I also had a quick scan on google for the error codes and some other people have had the same in the past but couldn't see a solution, does anyone here have any ideas what I could try next?

I tried reinstalling the software to see if it would overwrite the problem and then work and it didnt, came up with the following error message

It sounds like avast has moved some of the files out of where they're supposed to be.

thanks for the reply and posting the pics in the thread, I just tried something very simple and its appeared to work somehow haha, I went into my downloads folder, deleted the 888 poker installer file then back to the website and tried to download the software again and wala it seemed to work, dont know if thats just a coincidence or what but happy days, feel a bit stupid now for not trying this before posting!
