Hi, I put together a computer (thanks to this forum) a few years back. At the time it was suggested that I wouldn't need a GPU but now I'm looking into adding this to my computer but not knowing what to get???

I'm running 2x 24in. monitors (one only with DVI the other HDMI, DP) 1920x1080.
But... I'm wanting to add a 32in. BenQ or 40" Dell US in future.

Here's what I currently have:
Mobo: ASUS 87M-PRO 1150 Intel
https://www.newegg.ca/p/N82E16813131994

CPU: 4th gen. i5 (Haswell)

RAM: 8GB (2x 4GB) G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series DDR3 1600
(will be grabbing another 8GB of same RAM)

SSD: Samung 840 Pro
HD WD Black

PSU: SeaSonic SSR-450RM (450 Watts)

I'd like to get something compatible that meets my needs (no gaming) & something I won't need to upgrade ever. Not looking for the cheapest but not wanting to waste any money either.

thanks

Probably best for Poker_Orifice to get a cheap, fanless graphics card then - I bought one of these the other day for a secondary PC:

ye, actually Asus are releasing that same gpu with 4 HDMI ports

or there are older Quadro cards with 4 mini DP

Yes, this ^

Would this be a good one? GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

https://www.newegg.ca/gigabyte-gefor...82E16814125952

for $211 Cdn.

sure
you can find cheaper refurbished/second hand since you don't need anything fancy or recent but that one will do
and it will fit in your case

alternatively you can consider something like this
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/HP-Nvidia-Qu...cAAOSwcH5e2lIV
and the cables you need will cost you ~10$/pop
but you have a bit more flexibility to hook up any monitor you want with different display cables or adaptors
mini DP to HDMI, DVI , normal DP, usb-c

forgot about the NVS ones
4 regular DP ports, cheaper
