Hi all

just wandering does anyone know a workaround to get the MAPS tab/filter back (see highlighted part below)

At work i use maps alot and i was able to highlight a GPS or Zip code etc and then search with google then just hit the MAPS tab and it would take me to google maps

Anyone else notice this gone in last month or so.

Are you in Europe? If so, I think that this is due to new regulations/rules being imposed by the European Union: https://blog.google/around-the-globe...s-for-the-dma/

In short, Google is facing restrictions around preferencing their own services, such as Maps. Thus, the feature had to be removed.

An alternative that you might find useful is this: https://lifehacker.com/map-anything-...bar-1797731855 (you can use any keyword: I use just the letter 'm' to search for stuff on Maps)
