It depends how you measure "good".
There seems to be a pretty broad consensus that the strengths of Chrome are that it is fast, secure, and widely compatible with websites. On the other hand, it uses a bunch of RAM/memory (which can limit stuff if you have a bunch of tabs open) and does a terrible job of keeping your stuff private from Google.
Other leading browsers are Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Opera. Opera and Firefox are probably the best for maintaining privacy, and all are pretty similarly quick these days with big chunks of shared code for the rendering engine, so you might be better of trying another browser instead of Chrome.
