Is good Google Chrome bad ? Seems like everytime i have my google browser open for background music on youtube for poker my computer runs very slow?

It depends how you measure "good".

There seems to be a pretty broad consensus that the strengths of Chrome are that it is fast, secure, and widely compatible with websites. On the other hand, it uses a bunch of RAM/memory (which can limit stuff if you have a bunch of tabs open) and does a terrible job of keeping your stuff private from Google.

Other leading browsers are Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Opera. Opera and Firefox are probably the best for maintaining privacy, and all are pretty similarly quick these days with big chunks of shared code for the rendering engine, so you might be better of trying another browser instead of Chrome.

Yeah ok i see.. But i also have a quite old Potato here at home, but thought at least it would be able to go PS, HEM and some youtube music

Its a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3537U CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.50Ghz

8.00 GB RAM 64bit operativsystem with windows 10

That should be able to run those 3 things quite fine with a 10mb wireless connection or im wrong here?

Plus its newly rebooted

Yes, you should be able to do all those things. I doubt that using Chrome to play YouTube is going to kill the processor, but if it is, you could try using Spotify or some other dedicate music player to play music.

I prefer Firefox to Chrome myself, it uses less memory on my computer usually.

Load up your standard programs, then open up task manager and see what % utilization you're seeing on the CPU, Memory and Disk. That should give you a better idea of what your bottleneck is. Once you've found that you can address the issue more effectively.

The i7 CPU you have is a 2 core 4 thread 15w class Ultrabook CPU. Its not unthinkable that you could be maxing out CPU between Chrome, SQL, OS and poker client. There is also the possibility that the YouTube streams you're playing in the background are using encoding that is not accelerated/offloaded on an Intel GPU this old (circa 2013) which would drive CPU usage up./

Many thx for all your suggestions, but i think my router is the problem. Its some crap from the last decade. A billion something its called and and its maxed all the time. The router is so old that we cannot get our full internet connection.

I guess this highlights that when you said that your computer was "slow", no one understood this to be a reference to download speeds. For what you describe in the original post, changing your router seems like an unlikely solution.

Can you be more specific about the symptoms that you are experiencing?
