Hello 2p2,

I would like to create a forum for the organization I work for, however im not sure about the best way to do it or the software I should use.

The 3 most important things about this forum, are in this order:

-No fee or costs to be created
-Allows image and documents hosting
-Its somewhat secure

Ive been searching about the software I should use and found sites like ForumMotion or Freeforum, which I didnt know before and have no clue if they're good, etc..

Anyway, Im basicly posting this here to see if anyone can give me some tips or advices about this subject.. any contribute is good.

Im also available to talk via PM, email (migstrepa@hotmail.com) or Skype, if anyone feels like helping.

Thanks a lot for reading

There are many available ones, for free. Pick your flavor and go from there. I'd ask what technology your company hosts. You can host this with a domain ($10/yr) and hosting for about $7/mo. Setup wouldn't take that much and you can host it on godaddy. I set up a complete website for a fellow 2+2'er with CMS and forum pretty darn cheap. Something someone can do themselves if they have the time.

Does it have to be a forum? Can't you just use Dropbox etc and Skype/email?

Good point. Research hosting options. A large # of hosting sites come with a bulletin board / forum option as part of the base price.

I would like something that could be hosted online and with a pre-defined configuration. (basicly something that doesnt require specific computer skills to use and admin)..

Ive searched and the 3 sites of this type that I found were forum-free, freemotion and freeforum.. Anyone got any idea of which of this is the best?

Or there are other free sites that I have missed that are worth giving a try..?

Like I said any help is good.

Thank you
