So.... I purchased PT4 and i am so confused about the postgrSQL.

I am very competent when it come to computers normally but this has me stumped.

I have read through the troubleshooting pages and tried anything and everything and still I just get error message after error message.

I have messaged support and they basically regurgitated the troubleshooting page, so I do not know where to go from here.

I have completely removed Pt4 and postgrSQL several times over and reinstalled.

I have tried different passwords they've suggested.

I have tried different ports.

I have tried creating new database in pgadmin



help anyone ?

Why pokertracker didn't give you support?

At several of my jobs I've had to do tech support for users. I was more likely to work on problems where I had some chance of success.

But if someone said I have a computer, I did something, I got an error message over and over again (or maybe different messages, that's not clear either), I tried lots of stuff, they haven't given me one bit of useful information I could use to help them. So I normally just ignored them.

Two things:

1. if you don't tell people what the errors are, they can't help.

2. there is a dedicated PT4 support thread. It's sticked in the Commercial Software forum. Ask your question there (but include all details else you still won't get any help however much they want to help you).
