lately ive been very busy with getting moved in with my gf. she isnt a gamer at all but enjoys her app games on phone and computer. before we were together, a "treat" to herself was an hp all in one, 4gb ram, celeron etc. somehow she said others were too slow to run the games.... its functional, but really slows down after 5-6 tabs just browsing..
i have my desktop upstairs, a laptop that she HATES, and hers in the living room. to avoid having to carry hers up and down as much (not hard, just annoying) i decided to just buy her another of some sort that we can "share" in the living room. first thought was a refurb imac, but all the sales seem very fishy... started browsing just normal all in ones and came across a lenovo idea centre, only like $600 + touch screen! ok im sold...
dig a little deeper, start looking through the models they offer.... end up with a 10700t, 16gb ram, 512 ssd, 27" not quite 4k touch screen, apparently the base, the actual computer, is also a wireless charging station?!?!? basically snap buy..... for a little more than double, oops....
it seems kinda cool, and hopefully will be a nice second comp to use when shes not, but personally i would never even consider getting one vs a normal pc.. but i guess i'll see how much i end up liking it.
and earlier in the day...
