OK, I posted this in a computer thread that popped up in MSNL, but I figured this was a more appropriate location:

I have a Gigabyte Ep35-DS3R, which has only one PCI Express x16 slot (which has my GeForce 8800 in it), and 3 PCI Express x1 slots.
What kind of video card do I need to get to run a 3rd monitor? Or do I need a new motherboard with 2 PCI Express x16 slots?

Not. These cards can't do anything intensive. You won't be able to play video on a monitor hooked up to a USB card. Poker tables could lag too.

PCIe x1 video cards are pretty rare. Do you have any PCI slots on your motherboard? If so, buy an Nvidia PCI card.

Haha, thanks. I actually ended up buying this exact card before you recommended it.
