Why is there something rather than nothing? Why is there something rather than nothing?

Talking about existence is useful and intriguing. We can assume existence exists though imo, like Shannon and Descartes. What kind of existence exists besides our flawed or at least limited one is worth a thread, once again: imo (do I hear clap clap?)

We need to expand from the nothingness in the title, and thread flourishes.

I want to talk about differentiation and similarity. These are the two (or one) relations that changed the opinion of hard-nosed Bertrand Russell.

In a song, the sounds are the something that makes the song and so is the non sound. A rest for comforting ears is the place where a cymbal crash trails off.

Look into non-duality and you will get your answers about existence. Actualized.org is a great channel on youtube for it. If you kind of want to understand it watch these 3 videos.

I can't wrap my brain around this ****. If you try too hard you'll just go insane. Anyone feel like they have a grasp or can explain this? Isn't it an impossibility?
I'll try to answer your question by asking another question:

Why is the sky brown?

If I ask you a question that has a statement in it then there are now two parts to the asking of this question: part a, what is your answer to my question? part b, is the statement I made in my question true?

When part b is obviously false we often skip part a. We instead correct the questioner on his/her mistake. When part b is not obviously false we often challenge ourselves on part a without giving much thought to part b. This can lead us astray in philosophical questions such as the one you are asking.

Now, thinking about your question in this new context, the solution seems pretty easy. Once you show that there is indeed something rather than nothing it will be straightforward for us to take your answer and explain to you the why behind it.

Spoiler:
The way this usually goes from here is you start giving reasons as to why you think there is something rather than nothing. Next, a philosophically-minded person will provide reasons as to why you might be mistaken. Then you will try to make your argument from a different approach after which another refutation will be given. This goes on and on and in the end it makes for a great read (see plato's republic) but you will be left with more questions than answers (this is a good thing, however, and it will leave you a bit wiser than those with more answers than questions)

There is definitely something, and you can't even provide reasons why I might be mistaken unless there is something.

That was part of the question, not the entire question

The onus is on the questioner to explain their terms, before I can answer. I know what some-thing is, but what is "no-thing"?

Failing this, the question is void of meaning -

Like asking, why is there something instead of xyzbl34ghkm?

Well what the hell is xyzbl34ghkm?

Do you want it broken down by it’s parts or do you want a whole overview? Perhaps you want this reply to be nothing? If so, too late it seems. What happens if someone silently leaves what that is up to you? Did they do nothing?
