I can't wrap my brain around this ****. If you try too hard you'll just go insane. Anyone feel like they have a grasp or can explain this? Isn't it an impossibility?
I'll try to answer your question by asking another question:
Why is the sky brown?
If I ask you a question that has a statement in it then there are now two parts to the asking of this question: part a, what is your answer to my question? part b, is the statement I made in my question true?
When part b is obviously false we often skip part a. We instead correct the questioner on his/her mistake. When part b is not obviously false we often challenge ourselves on part a without giving much thought to part b. This can lead us astray in philosophical questions such as the one you are asking.
Now, thinking about your question in this new context, the solution seems pretty easy. Once you show that there is indeed something rather than nothing it will be straightforward for us to take your answer and explain to you the why behind it.
