I have never cheated at poker although as a kid i would memorize every flaw on the back of each card.

So i ask of thee, what percent of our opponents do you think have cheated ?

I chose 10% because it doesn't go any lower. The overwhelming majority do not cheat. I would say fewer than 1% do, depending on your definition of cheating.

What do you consider to be cheating and what could possibly be interpreted by some but not you, as cheating ?

the question is kinda vague, do you mean regularly cheat or have cheated ever? also do you mean cheat as in have had the intent to try to gain an unfair advantage or as in someone accidentally doesn't put enough chips in when they call and the dealer doesn't catch it?

10%? that seems like a crazy number. i would never cheat now, but i have told people my hole cards in sngs online before, i also set a deck once in a $5 home game. all these things happened when i was a teenager and although i was a good person deep down, i hadn't really defined my personal set of morals by then. i suspect the vast majority of people have done something like this just because they didn't know any better and didn't really think about their actions before doing it.

that's not to say me setting the deck once is something everyone does, that story sort of puts me over the top, but the sharing hole cards thing is something i know many people have done who are good people and have strong morals now.

i voted 100% but i think 90's a better number.

A more interesting question might be how many people would cheat if they could find a way to.

lets say cheated 5 or more times

If i wanted to cheat i could without any difficulty other than the moral issue which prevents me from doing so.
