existence is too low on the philosophical pyramid to be discussed with any meaningful results, imo. for the most part (if not the full part) it has to be treated as an axiom (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axiom)

I think consciousness is a bit overvalued. We lie to our selves. Luckily we have some ability to register data. And then try to dig into it.

What does dying have to do with existing? Dead things are still things. Things that exist.

Sometimes people seem to get a kick out of mistaking one concept with another. Perhaps you meant, "consciousness" or "awareness."

To exist is to play the game. The interactions game. I think therefore i am is a subset of that. A particle only exists in the sense it affects the rest of the system.

This is a participatory universe. Geometry is born out of interactions. Emergent things do not exist in the deepest sense. The consequences of their connections exist.

You cannot have existence without change. Because there is no interaction without change. There is no such thing as a single electron for example with nothing else in the universe. What does it do now?

Existence is the transfer of information.

Memory is only important as storage of information.

And time (duration) is tied to memory. If a single entity has an infinite memory capacity for information storage but it resets every minute or hour...........information is not transferred.

Then move to two independent entities that exist............then multiply up.....

Then add Beer................

If you drink enough that you don't remember, then those events never existed because information was not transferred.
