I had an identity "crisis" when I was age 6-7. I couldn't conceive other thinking beings parallel to my own (at some point I thought of people as some kind of "robots" or in the line of the "Truman Show") Somehow, I think I was starting to be a bit skeptical about reality and doubt meaning of existence purpose of the Universe etc. Of course, not too complex, but nonetheless "something".
Then they started keeping me busy and haven't thought much about any of these things ever since.
I'm amazed how 99.9% of people I know they just accept reality as it is and not think about anything other than "what they are supposed to do, since they are human beings"
In the pub a few months ago someone wanted brought up the latest film/book/whatever it was claiming Shakespears' plays were written by someone other than Shakespear.
It was then observed that as far we were concerned this was meaningless as whoever wrote the plays was Shakespear

Bertrand Russell once gave a public lecture that included some of his thoughts about Solipsism. After the lecture was over, a lady approached him and said, "I'm a solipsist myself, and I don't understand why there aren't more solipsists like me."
