THE WAY OF SALVATION
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth… (Romans 1:16)
Fact #1: All of us are sinners:
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one…For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:10;23)
Fact #2: All of us by our sins have earned death (including eternal torment in the Lake of Fire), but we can have the gift of eternal life by putting our trust in Jesus, the eternal Son of God:
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
Fact #3: Jesus proved his love for us by dying on the cross at Calvary, thereby paying in full the penalty for our sins:
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us; (Romans 5:8)
For he [God the Father] hath made him [Jesus; God the Son] to be sin for us, who knew no sin... (2 Corinthians 5:21)
Fact #4: You can be saved today:
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved….For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:9;13)
That isn't true. The only way to be saved is to meditate on nothing while facing a wall. It is ok to occasionally walk around quietly and slowly.
The ones who think you need to face the middle of the room are misguided or charlatans.
