I was watching video clips emerging from Wuhan where bodies were dropping on the streets. The authorities were welding doors with people inside their homes and putting citizens in the backs of Van's. That was a scary weekend as I didn't know what the hell was unleashed

My Dad is against a family meetup generally. He doesn't let things go. Remembers everything. No forgiveness. To a certain extent he is correct. Fisticuffs at xmas eve playing Holdem. Cards are out. You name it happened between myself and my two brothers. Then we reflect and try to determine the root cause and it's never narrowed down. The blame is shared equally among us barring my dad who always does everything right.

Now that restrictions have eased, the rest of us want a get together. My Dad says no but he does so jokingly, it's never stern.
