It is snowing in my backyard in Fountain Hills, AZ, USA. 20 years and it's never snowed here. That's it folks, the judgement is in! Global warming is actually global cooling just like in that Twilight Zone episode.

Global warming is the slight increase in avg temperature the planet experiences over a year. Going over even 1-2 C in a century is big deal. It implies climate change because more available energy is now in the atmosphere to do things with ie more volatile climate is possible. That means colder or hotter than usual or wetter etc more aggressive patterns. So all will be observed actually even cold that is severe etc.

Climate vs weather. Change in climate due to human influence in greenhouse gases which elevates equilibrium temperatures of the planet's atmosphere and biosphere means more volatile weather will be observed.

In 2018, we had here record breakers all round. Highest temperatures since before I born. A back garden water hose ban was imposed, while at the same time people were queuing outside Aldi to buy gigantic inflatable pools.

Before that we didn't have the typical freezing weather in Jan or Feb, nor did we have a freeze yet. And it snowed last year in March. Never happened in my life.

Winter has been relatively warm. Climate here was loosely predictable until late.
I have no idea what's in store now. I enjoy the spontaneity, deep down.
