Exactly, the journalist's ploy is so obvious. Loaded accusations that no matter how answered leads to the talking head mounting the supposed moral high ground. The political hack could have said 'no threat , I advised him as best I could'. But no matter what he said the loathsome maggot journalist will trick, mislead, and try to hang him. That interviewer only deserves one thing: to have his head hacked off with a meat cleaver and his body burn in a trash bin!

Then why cant this mfer say to the journalist or "journalist" (more context is needed to know) (if true) that i didnt threaten, it was not my intention, stating things the proper way can be seen as threatening but only if one assumes the worse of me and not the details of the situation and whether one perceives being threatened or not is subjective but what is not subjective is that at no point in our exchange i made any verbal statement that would be equivalent to a clear threat of imminent risk that if the other party behaved differently as a favor to me they would not face (ie what a usual threat looks like to obtain a different outcome from someone for personal gain). Stating facts and their consequences if based on how things function property (ie accountability for performance etc) is never a threat, it is just information that may have consequences that can be seen as threatening or not but not because of me stating them but because of how things function. So i am not the threat, the facts are in that case if any threat can be argued to exist.

But he didnt reply that way and that is what makes him a mfer like all politicians that refuse to answer and play games.

You better believe it you can own any ahole journalist that is playing sick games if you have what it takes and are clean.

They have to have the guts to tell the truth and own it or explain to the journalist that it is not that trivial easy to answer a question in a yes or no form because both directions of answer miss context necessary to know better. So let me explain exactly how it went and you will tell me if that is a threat or not etc. But also know that at no point i offered an intimidating statement that is what common sense people would recognize as threat in the way that people threaten each other to obtain different behavior that will benefit their interests. The interest of the community, not I, may threaten someone here.

Of course what if he really threatened him and there is a recording now? So you can operate strongly only if you are indeed clean, right? This is why most politicians are mfers because they are not clean and they are conveniently gutless when needed to be brave and honorable.

"His reputation was dented on 13 May 1997 when a critical inquiry into a series of prison escapes was published. In advance of the publication Howard made statements to assign blame to the prison service. Television interviewer Jeremy Paxman asked him the same question 14 times in all during an edition of the Newsnight programme. Asking whether Howard had intervened when Derek Lewis sacked a prison governor, Paxman asked: "Did you threaten to overrule him?" Howard did not give a direct answer, instead repeatedly saying that he "did not instruct him" and ignoring the "threaten" part of the question.[13] Paxman resumed his question in another interview in 2004. A surprised Howard remarked: "Oh come on Jeremy, are you really going back over that again? As it happens, I didn't. Are you satisfied now?" Secret Home Office papers partially vindicated Howard but show that Howard asked a top civil servant if he had the power to overrule the Prison Service director general.[14]

Shortly after the 1997 Newsnight interview, Ann Widdecombe, his former minister of state at the Home Office, made a statement in the House of Commons about the dismissal of then director of the Prison Service, Derek Lewis, and remarked of Howard that there is "something of the night" about him.[15] This much quoted comment is thought to have contributed to the failure of his 1997 bid for the Conservative Party leadership, including by Howard and Widdecombe.[16][17] This comment led to him being caricatured as a vampire, in part due to his Romanian ancestry,[18] but such characterisations caused discontent among members of Britain's Jewish community.[19] "

The only time you do not answer to questions is to police without defense in place. But if people or any higher ethical principle is at risk you talk to the police even if it hurts you.

You own it and then face the consequences and if you then lose, it is because society has it wrong or you have it wrong or both and it is now time for all to grow better because of owning it.

Paxman later admitted that the reason he asked the same question twelve times was because his next interview had fallen through and he needed to fill the time.

Three of the dodger-brewer games have been really good. After five games, each team has scored fifteen runs.

Maybe we should bring back 10 cent beer night? Send some journalists to report on it.

And you believe that?

And why are you trying to burst my hate bubble? Do you realize how much fun that rant was to write. Like hitting a walk off home run in a playoff game.

Perhaps, too, you are a bit jealous

I actually rather like Paxman. He can be stubborn AF and embarrass interviewees into obviously ducking questions they ought to answer.

And yes, there is a tinge of envy in my traffic.

According to folkish lore....

“Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelation
And the mind's true liberation”

It stands to folkish reason that the new age happens when people decide it does and are acting like does it.

I expected to a click on a Wu-Tang song I may not have heard. Like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOQGhC5nzus

Why is the sky blue? Why is water wet? Why did Judas rat to the Romans while Jesus slept?

Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death.”

I checked to see if all the celebrities of old were still around.
It's been a while.

Koon barrelling that turn when a tight player 3-bets and then flats a 4-bet OOP, and calls a flop bet is questionable. Obviously more combos of 77, 88, 99 than JJ, QQ, TT. However, he can have KK sometimes, and sets on the flop.

But good to know Dwan is still around and clearly ballin'.

Since no one leaves their gaff anymore to buy a record/cassette/cd and there is more music existing today than ever, naturally; we are at a more greater risk of forgetting about brilliant songs that we once knew.

Therefore, I recommend the smartest thing to do, now, is to compile your own database of all the songs that are worthy. Or else, risk, either totally losing or wasting brain space trying to recall songs.

The irony, though, is that there is something sweet about recalling a song you thought you forgot. It's tied to the the pain and pleasure type of paradox, in a way.

I understand now, why people don't like Mondays, Bob. I generally don't like them either. My first day off in a while, it may as well be the week end, get it. Week end. Something within the start of the week, that you must wait until it ends, for things to be good. That something though is not intrinsic.

100% agreed. The question was avoided and therefore should be asked until answered. It's somewhere between funny and frustrating to me how people get annoyed at him. Paxman is ****** awesome at his job actually.

Check the interview he did with Gates, Hitchens, McGuiness, or more tellingly Russell Brand.

Have an ideology, he will question and scrutinise it. I also enjoyed his university challenge quiz show.

By the way, he would absolutely own you, if he interviewed you on scientific society. Got to be be cruel to be kind. And i say that, because I see you are still spreading that absolute nonsense. Please stop. And just because I singled out one aspect of your behavior, it doesn't negate the other aspects of your behavior, and certainly does not define you as a person.

Dance tune from a year ago. Broke 67 million views. Wow. And the only reason I say wow, is because I listened to it, and it is certainly not cheesy enough to warrant that amount of views.

When does the underground become mainstream. And I know the answer to that question. But whatever.

There is hope.
