If you lengthen a cylinder by 10%, its volume increases 10%. If you increase the circumference by 10%, by what percent does the volume increase?
Since V=pi*r^2*h it goes to (1.1)^2 of original (r goes to 1.1 r )(hence grows by21%)
V'=pi*r'^2*h' V=pi*r^2*h so what is V'/V if h'=h, r'=1.1r
