The amount you can deadlift and squat is the actual measure of your power. Power indicates explosiveness and coordination of multiple muscles simultaneously. This is why compound exercises like deadlifts are a good metric of power. Those who can do heavier deadlifts, will also likely develop bigger biceps
and more easily.
Women, in my experience, are attracted to health, wit, and empathy. The one who deadlifts more, by almost all metrics, is healthier than the one that bicep curls heavier. In reality, though if you excel at the former you usually also excel at the latter.
Interestingly, medical literature shows that grip strength, which is generally tied to how much you deadlift, is one of, if not the most important predictor of mortality. They can literally predict when you're likely to die based on your grip strength.
