When you're strange.
This summer I want to visit European cities, not alone if preferable, but I can't help it if my mates are either tied down or broke-ass bums; which I was until lately.
Any thoughts on traveling alone?
Amsterdam, Prague, Frankfurt. Not Bruges. Krackow.

Travelling alone is marvelous. Completely Free. No Mates to foul up anything and/or everything. Get on a train and go. Take money and condoms and liquor and a long knife for added protection.
Amsterdam, Good choice
Prague, Good choice
Frankfurt - no, only go if you want to check out all the whores. There are so many other cities better to see in Germany.
Bruges, never been so no comment.
Poland seems good. I saw a travel show and Poland was cheap with great food and wonderful people and cool music scene. See it before the next Russian invasion. Ditto for the Baltic Republics.
