Went from a watching a frozen pond last week to watching turtles stick their noses up to 70 degree air today. Back to 40 forecast tomorrow.

Here's the story:

Monday is garbage day and the Javelinas

knocked over the can - for the third damn time! - and I had to sweep up the incredible mess bec they'd ripped through everything including a two layer box of candy. I got a broom and went looking for the dust pan but DAMN IT I couldn't find where either the cleaning service or my mother's caregiver had put it. So I used two brooms to lift up the larger piles and, just when I absolutely needed a dust pan that I didn't have to get the remainder there was the candy box ripped apart in just such a way that it worked as a dust pan. (Got a new one today at Walgreen's, btw).

Tell me there is no God.

I'm having trouble with the timeline. The PigGod clearly crafted a dust pan so you can keep order.

And your story is that you threw away your PigGod-given dust pan because you are a heathen who prefers Walgreens dust pans?!?

Way, way up thread, I noted that I had an idea (implicit in my post was that it was only a single idea). I never posted what it was. Excellent judgement on your part that, although you had several ideas, that you did not post them. If you did, you would have been hacked up into pieces and feed to the throbbing masses as so much dog meat. Or perhaps pig meat. Can't be sure.

Do electric pigs pray photon prayers?

In weirdly similar news I recently saw the cows next door break past a barrier and get into the hay barn. Cows don't know what breaking and entering or larceny means? Those silly cows get hay delivered by truck daily and still raiding the barn. Plus the current herd has like 10 baby cows, which are cute as puppies plus on of the bulls has long impressive horns. The dog has finally started to learn to stop bolting to them on command.
