Curved lines are better than straight lines
No lines is better than curved lines
Being is better than no lines
Always is synonymous with being
Beginning is contradictory to always
End is synonymous with beginning

If drinking needed a defense, so too, would sobriety.

Scientific proof of the cuck has finally emerged:

Quote:

The average testosterone level for an American male is a range anywhere from 270 to 1070 ng/dL with an average level of 679 ng/dL.

When a crew from Buzzfeed got their testosterone levels checked as part of an investigation into male attractiveness, 3 out of 4 were apparently low.

Eugene, the Asian guy, was the only one of them to have normal testosterone levels, though he was on the low end of the normal range.

Studies have shown men who are physically strong are more likely to be right-wing, while weak men are more likely to be left-wing socialists.
I feel like there is nothing left for me to discover in this life, I have ferreted out all available truths on this plane of existence and need to go to a higher one.

3 out of 4 people don't lift. What's new?

I lift daily and I'm hairy as a monkey. Still a left-wing sissy. Definitely no socialist. The self-entitlement of socialists is a tad rich.

Socialists: "life's too hard, the world owes me nice things".
Capitalists: "life should be hard, so long as it's not hard on me."

Folly all around.

Studies have also shown that conservatives tend to be more anxious and have lower IQs. This probably explains why most rich people tend towards being on the more progressive side of things.

Also, I'm fairly sure that at least 98.7% of people who know what "cuck" means don't use it.

Cuck porn is most popular in the alpha male south. Odd. Least if what the deplorable in p7 said is true.

Are human insecurities most noticeable in an individuals loudest proclamations?

Or, does perfection reveal itself through repetition of self-assured position?

Can porn teach us the difference between reality and concept?

How many questions is too many?

A truly great individual is a liar if they are humble. With that exception out of the way, I'll answer yes.

If you're a boxer then yes. With that exception out of the way, no.

Porn doesnt teach.

The amount at which children usually arrive at before realising that you no longer have all the answers.

Most? No. Maybe some- in the sense that an insecurity is a fear and loud proclamation is a behavior related with behaviors of expressing fear.
The best place I have found to observe insecurity contains the presence of silence and privacy with an an intention to address insecurity.

Perfect Perfection reveals itself perfectly.

Amateur porn may teach that ****ing is so much fun, some people want to share.

As a general rule, no. In certain personality types, yes.

Yes. Things that are closer to perfect are repeated and/or mass produced - whether they be ideas, goods, or Katy Perry concerts. Such is the goal of science and philosophy and manufacturing and many more endeavors, including life itself.

Questions serve to create useful mental models. When they're not doing that, they're pointless.

Spot on.

Just the sweet spot between too much and too little responsibility.

Sometimes I question whether I somehow chose to have this level of ability.

Not sure where to post this:

General: I have a lottery-type contest where first place gets 5% of the prize pool, 20th percentile doubles their money and everyone in the bottom 80% gets nothing. I want to derive the formula to use for this type of payout structure so that I can apply it to contests of any size and entry fee.

Specifically: I am trying to find the formula of the decay function that passes through the two points
(0.14, 5.00) and (19.05,0.25) where the area under the curve is equal to 100.

Thanks and feel free to move if more appropriate.

The payout system won't work at all. Imagine you have 20 ppl and the buy in is $1.

1st place gets 5% of the prize pool = 20*1*0.05 = $1
20th percentile gets double the buy-in = 2*1 = $2

I think the way to do it is ignore the requirement for 20th percentile, fix what % of the prize pool 1st place gets, use Excel to make an exponential distribution, and normalize.

Yeah you are right with low dollar amounts and entries it doesn't work. In actuality the buy in is usually $20 with total prize pool normally around $4million. For the 20th percentile, it doesn't have to be literally double but would like to keep it around 1.5x-2x. Also have some flexibility around first place if necessary. Really only requirements are that 20% of participants cash, and of course sum of all cashes equals the total prize pool.

Can you be specific on how to do that given those constraints? Alternatively I suppose I could manually create a stepwise function down, then normalize, but would like a continuous function if possible.
