If a six turned out to be nine, I feel fine. I don't mind.

But, when I see a 2 turn into a 1, a whole other rhyme must be begun!

What happened is we all lost an hour of evening light and you better believe it this is a cause of increased (ok a bit per person not a lot say on avg) depression/anxiety/sadness/melancholy worldwide (whatever you want call it something like that). Plus when they wake up in the morning and its light outside a feeling of guilt for the day that has already started is in place vs the feeling of higher self esteem and boost that comes from knowing you leave home and its still dark out there (like the day is ahead still and you are already ahead of it etc). All think of the energy saved etc but how much is wasted by those emotions too lol.

On a side note i wonder what is the mood difference during the day between people that wake up using an alarm clock and those that wake up whenever they feel like waking up lol, naturally allowing the brain/body (or bladder lol) to decide when to wake up instead.

By the way, Masque, I watched an apparently objective Princess Diana documentary, and I now agree that it was almost certainly an accident. Mostly because of the kooky, last-minute idea of Dodi's to leave by the back in order to elude the paparazzi. Stupid of me to suggest otherwise. I must have watched the Godfather movies too many times.

If only she was wearing her seat belt which is seen as ridiculous in general as a back passenger (nobody wears them in my car but i insist on the front passenger at least) but in reality it has merit when the car starts moving very fast to evade paparazzi. If you do it only one time out of the general routine as back passenger i mean that would be it. Its a lot riskier to drive fast inside a city or general traffic than say the open highway at even higher speeds. In fact she would have definitely survived it with only chest injuries. That choice alone could change everything. Idiots do not understand that in a car collision deceleration rapidly into hard surfaces is what kills you because it is similar to falling from a 3-4 floors height when you hit the surface of a hard obstacle inside the car's rapidly changing geometry. Imagine if every time you had to fall from such height you were given a 10cm deceleration range before the real impact. Thats probably 10-100x less severe outcome.

The driver in the front (if the collision is so fast without brakes deceleration into hard surface to rapidly destroy the front part) may not have a chance regardless of airbags and belts (although do not even then write him out) and on side impact the passengers may also suffer serious injuries (assuming no airbags say) but at least they wont smash into a hard surface. They will live to talk about their injuries instead.

Her date should have insisted on her wearing it briefly at least until the "chase" was over. Or her bodyguard who has as responsibility her protection at all times. Also the driver that has as responsibility the safety of all 3. It is in fact very elementary for the bodyguard or driver to insist on it because they are the only professionals at the moment. The risk she is taking is not any different than when the bodyguard is doing his job and checking people out when protecting her near crowds. Its similar kind of low but plausible risk. Then again if people thought like that we would be already in scientific society and we would be planning what chaotic reckless adventure is on the simulator on later tonight...

I will check out that video too. I recently watched another about the paparazzi themselves (and other first action witnesses) that likely clears them at the collision site as immediate influence (i mean as causing the accident by direct interaction), another car instead they had passed was the only vehicle nearby at the moment.




I remain convinced if there was faster action by all involved she might have had a better chance and being already operated to support heart and other internal injuries at least 1 hour before she was declared dead. Study how long it took her to actually get to the hospital to see what i mean which is insane given who she was and the city it happened. Its a massive stream of failures that explain everything in my opinion.

Regarding the evening light i was being funny of course but its a real depressing feeling that many people admit when they see the night come earlier every evening, as if it enforces winter firmly. I also feel it. Its no big deal but i honestly prefer to have a permanent summer in terms of light if i were to design a space colony environment for myself lol.

Say sunrise at 6:30am and sunset at 8:30pm is my ideal setup. On the side you can always see the night sky with the stars rotating together with the station.

So you know you are in space but it feels like you are in a great mini natural world also inside, on the way to a nearby star system destination at 0.1c, arriving sometime in the next decade in a world that machines have visited first and are already building a nanotechnology based world for you to recover resources and start the new space colonies mega structures and the exploration in that system where 200 satellites and mini planets, 3 rocky earth like ideal gravity targets and 5 gas giants with amazing energy sources await your ideas...finally free from the earth system's tyranny...

Alas when you finally arrive there, you find out something has gone terribly wrong (a disturbing message from a 6 years ago earth has just arrived in your mega ship to finally explain the silence from the original system's destination). The real adventure begins. You now have a giant spaceship traveling for 5 decades almost out of fuel, all the technology you ever wanted but no home for recovering needed resources and at 100 au distance from the target star, your new sun, you learn your own preinstalled AI there has revolted and become super powerful, it has already not only established itself there but also visited the original earth system (while you were traveling at 0.1c) and dominated everything there too. Can you recover both worlds or is it lights off for mankind...You felt happy to leave the old world and now your ship and its people are the only hope. These 10578 humans left in the giant ship and the original AI are up against an emerging galactic nightmare...Can it be stopped? Can your people and your AI stop the runaway AI?

It appears that she made the mistake of having the wrong specific injury on French soil. Hopefully she has learned her lesson.
