I need a new Mac and starting getting to business. I just do everything in my phone nowadays.

I know someone who bought software to do data mining on commodities. The software produced algorithms which would have profited had they been applied to past data. He was advised to trade several commodities according to the algorithms and continue using those that worked. At first there were several that worked but as time went on fewer and fewer continued to work. He finally got down to one which he sticked with for some time before giving up on it.

In the process he became quite adept at using the software. Last I heard he was earning fees teaching new buyers of the software how to use it. I wonder if they now have new, super data mining software that uses AI. Regardless, Caveat Emptor.
