If nazi and lie are too informal or literal or insulting as qualifiers, I also like to call them dirty lies and foul lies. A cyclone of dishonesty. A huge, tremendous and unsightly front of confusion and dishonesty. So much simple and big falsehood, contradiction and incongruence that one caught unaware may experience terror at realization that it is as such. Or is someone feeling insulted about that?

You forget that Hitler's life is over and Trump's isnt. You forget also that before Hitler did what he did he started with lies in 1920s, 30s , hatred and anger and sycophantic, demagogue style inspirational to the easily manipulated people (because of the situation there and their own condition) oratory. Read his wikipedia page. Also already Trump is responsible for deaths of people other than the pandemic treasonous screwup (would cost him nothing to have been from day one very pro masks and common sense behavior to protect the population better and lead to less of an epidemic with better control of the situation and testing and maybe schools even open with some efforts). He also has had supporters become violent in many occasions and has had permanent vitriolic rhetoric that inflames the situation. It is the easiest thing in the world to talk to the protesters and calm them down and invite all sides to produce meetings and to find solutions that improve police without attacking its proper function. Instead he operates as if his intention is to manipulate the system and establish a tyranny.

You forget also that something can be similar in the principle and not lead to the same result because unlike Nazi Germany here the white house will be in flames with 250000 people running over any bs police and military that will try to stop them when the tyrant has finally declared a cue and invited his posse to defend his endless cheating scum of a life he has built exploiting others.

Thats how they had the senate for so long unable to contain him representing a mere 45% of the population really. Thats why to defeat them it takes such massive victories when it should only take marginal ones.

This is not a politics forum but my position among friends here stands because it is now a war against science and the very fabric of society (without which science is impossible) that rests on people having elementary conscience and a social contract that is demolished if everything is an endless lie and a divisive wargame.
