So I bought some broccoli, which I intended to steam, but, nah, it'll end up in the garbage.

No no no. Forget about steaming if you have to throw it and it came fresh not frozen. Instead clean it well and eat it raw with other salad after cutting it a bit smaller pieces. I promise its 100 times tastier and fun. Now of course steaming with rice and whatever else is doable too but i also dont like the end taste unless you put olive oil and lemon to it or cheese and ham in the oven or whatever souffle like. Raw with salad beats all those other ideas so far though. I was shocked to find out some time ago that i can avoid the bad dull taste this way. But it has to be fresh.

Clean the broccoli? Eat it raw w/o ranch? lol@you. And me.

In other news mom does not watch TV in her bedroom opting instead for DVD's playing 20+hrs/day which wears the damn things out quick. BTW, she watches Titanic at least 5 times/day and it's turned up loud so I have to listen to all of the screaming from the dying ppl while I'm trying to relax in my massage chair after loading up on Xanax, a shot of whiskey, and a bowl of weed (I've got a med card so don't preach) which takes away from the experience but that's my life and you're welcome to it.

Since she wore out the old DVD player today I went to Target and they had two of the ones she uses @$100 each. I put them both in the cart and asked the pimple Target kid if they had any more in the back room bec I would've bought two more. He gives me the 'wtf do you need more than one for look' and I explain that I need more than one player in case mom wants to watch a movie more than once. Let me tell you, there are few things in life worse than a joke you have to explain.

I get home to set up the new DVD player only to find the remote's batteries are corroded, I go to my storage closet, all the spares are corroded, I think MOTHER****ER! I've got to go to the supermarket and get another pack of AAA's when I pass by a side table and see that there's a new pack right there along w/ AA's fwiw.

Hackery is pretty illustrative word. Partial information does have to be hacked from more complete information to be like a hack job.

Not to be conflated with hacking a small part of a whole amount information to reflect the greater amount of information still available.

Oh yeah thanks. My parents are actually right now back in Peloponnese collecting the product of the harvesting and processing from the tree to the oil container. Literally right now is the harvesting and processing to oil time. Takes only a couple days for all to happen. Pm me an address and i can send you some free if this year turns out to be top quality.

(Without machines it's much harder and time consuming and it has been like that for centuries. Never participated in picking or the process in general, only watched it as kid, however i consume a lot of the final product even so far away from its origin, shame on me lol, thanks to mom and dad that still mail me every year or two. I get containers like those in the end of the next video thanks to all previous generations that took care of them, now long gone but not forgotten...)
