How about that? Is the end justified?

Psycho is the perfect thriller. It's classic in how it shows the little details taking things to the motel eventually. The murder scene is elegantly cruel. The master at work indeed. Vertigo is even better though. That is the movie you fall in love with.

You see in the end it's love, good and synthesis that survives after all else is gone.

What is good? It is what leads to the rise of higher complexity and wisdom.

There's no psychos in Australia mate. Russia too, I suppose.

Fargo takes place in America, rightfully.

If it's 1:45 and someone asks you the time, tell them it's 1:47. You will sound more precise and keep them from being late.

The trouble with complexity is it's easy to spin into half truths. What's simple is hard to deny.

For unknown reasons, some words are naturally well suited as punch lines for jokes. For example, pony.

"No. They said "I need a drink""

Thanks. It seems that, despite my best efforts, I still retain a few friends. When I come down to visit in a few weeks I'll try and remedy this.

VeeDDz is a ****ing foreigner and thus of no account. He has no counter because his premise(s) are so whacked. He thinks evil is contained by arbitrary and silly borders of current nation states. Not surprising, since he feels isolated, by oceans, on his backward continent full of criminals, drunkards and degenerate slimy, halfwits that trace their roots to England. Enough said, once a Limey always a Limey. Rum, Sodomy and the Lash. QED.

Reality: what a concept.

Sent from my phone. It has its own reality.

In my culture, there seems to be a slight stigma surroudning travelling alone. I've never done so. I've traveled with people and often ended up on my own though. And it was weird in the sense tat I wish I had a mate with me.
When you're strange.

This summer I want to visit European cities, not alone if preferable, but I can't help it if my mates are either tied down or broke-ass bums; which I was until lately.

Any thoughts on traveling alone?

Amsterdam, Prague, Frankfurt. Not Bruges. Krackow.

Name one scenario whereby being two minutes late mattered. Kant says you should tell the truth. That white lie could lead to butterflies acting up.

The psycho is an American invention right? Psychology of psychopathy and all that jazz?

Psychology is not so big everywhere else. We do a poor job of communicating scientific ideas. The tendency to engage in mass shootings is not as big everywhere either. Not that these are related in all cases.

Convicts or not, the worst thing that will happen to you down under is getting eaten by an animal...or a spider.

Aha! The butterfly effect. I've heard about that.

That wasn't the correct response. He was telling you who cares, even if there is no goodness.

No big deal that you got it wrong. He had you checkmated two moves later anyway.

I'm thoroughly confused now. Not the first time in my life.

The saying implies that goodness and caring are equivalent to some extent, and that without goodness, no one would care about the problem of evil. If no one cared about it, then it wouldn't be a problem. The quote offers a tongue-in-cheek solution to the philosophical Problem of Evil.

Then you go, and repeat just that...
