Good advice. You could see me quitting being part of a health and wellbeing strategy. Have had a card to the gym for years, unused for 1-2 years . On the other hand quit using my car for getting to work one year ago, made more steps/day.

Life is a swing. Boredom on one end; suffering on the other. Punctuated by small moments of happiness inbetween.

I'm not a solipsist. I believe other people exist. It's just that sometimes I think everybody else is dreaming and I'm the only one who's awake.

Started playing poker online after a long break. Nice stuff, people have gotten better at the lowest level. Have always known poker will be there for me.

The one million play money I got by playing somewhere down the line are worth $3 nowadays. Still winning is the main thing, first goal is making it two million. And naturally getting and giving all poker has to offer on the way. It's great math and psychology. In nl holdem maybe in reversed order.

Will be interesting to see if I'm too bad for real money now. Made $50 to $300 in, what was it, eight years. Never reloading was the main goal. Then I could hold my own at the second lowest real money levels, losing when going higher.

I'm not a determinist. I believe we make free choices. It's just that sometimes I think everybody else's choices are pre-determined and mine are the only ones that aren't.

Believe everyone is equal if it helps you think you're more benevolent than the next guy.

Believe whatever you want, if it helps you like yourself. Feed your ego however you choose. Play whatever game you choose, no matter how crude or refined. Feel special about your place in the void.

He can hold back. That is a virtue. And we don't have slaves and crowns nowadays, in that way.

His health or other circumstances may hold him back.

In an act of self-rationalization, he may later proclaim that indeed he never desired the crown.

Few never do. Whether lacking ambition is a virtue, I don't know.

Will to power is only one aspect. Will to co-operation is another. And compassion, love. Piece of mind. There are also bad things higher up, I like to say the **** percent can be too high. Think it's not only about inability.

I'm thinking the quantum many worlds people have it backwards. There aren't many quantum worlds branching out, of which we are one. Instead, there are many quantum worlds merging together, of which we are a conglomerate.
