Your attempting to obsfuscate. Theistic evolution makes the exact same predictions as evolution. Your inconsistent because you would allow string theory to be taught in science class even though the only testible predictions it makes come from other theories, thats the science part of it(the stuff that comes from other theories). The rest of it is science fiction. Still you would allow the science fiction to pass into science class.

You would not give the same consideration to ID or thiestic evolution. You are inconsistent in your beliefs. The whole kit and kaboodal has to be banned less the children be tainted with ideas consistent with religion. I am surprised you don't want to ban the big bang theory.

High energy scattering will lead to different (and predictable) results if it is point on point or string on string. No experiment today can get to high enough energy to test this, just like Hawking radiation is too small of an effect to measure today. Did you really think that string theory was untestable in principle? It is just untestable in terms of practical technology, and we may even get lucky and find evidence for extra dimensions at the LHC.

Testible is not the same thing as tested. More than likely supersymmetry will be found by the end of the decade. The graviton as well.

You really need to read about the history of string theory. You have said too many things in this thread that are just plain wrong for me to go through and correct.

I should probably just give up, but think about a theory that always agrees with Quantum field theory and GR but requires much fewer constants that you have to put in by hand like G, electric coupling constant, electron muon mass ratio etc. This will obviously be a better theory than what we have now even if it doesn't tell us anything we don't already know.
