Does any of this have implications for Bell's Theorem, "hidden variables" or the multi universe theory?

Flower of Scotland is objectively the best anthem sung before a six nations game. That is a fact.
I'm not walking into a Rangers pub wearing my Celtic jersey, in my reality.

In which a layman takes his swing:

This has nothing to do w/ Bell's Theorem, hidden variables or a multiverse hypothesis ('theory' being the wrong word to use). It has more to do w/ whether or not there is an observer problem in QM it seems to me. Bell's Theorem was used to rule out the hidden variables that would have been required to support Einstein's objection to QM being a complete theory in that he believed unobserved particles DID have definite properties which the Copenhagen Interpretation denied. The multiverse hypothesis comes in various forms: Eternal Inflationary cosmology in which the Big Bang never stops but continues forever dropping off matter and radiation in pockets along the way or the existence of a 'universe generator' such as the 'quantum haze' or the 10^500 possible universe configurations allowed in string theory and there are likely many more proposals.

What we have here is a case where the actual state of a photon has been measured by one person thereby establishing a fact, yet, that state being unknown to a second person, is still in a state of superposition to that person. IOW, a state of being a definite thing on the one hand and not a state of being on the other hand at the same time, which is paradoxical.

If the theoretical physics community thinks that there's anything new to be learned from this they've been handed a gift: A new feature to explore which can be used for grant applications.

Interesting.

Maybe regarding multi universe theory? I always wondered how that was supposed to work. Like when I flip a coin, and someone in the Alpha Centauri system does too, does this result in 4 parallel universes created immediately for all of the combinations of outcomes? Maybe these Scottish experiments could explain that.

Hope they find those "hidden variables"!
