Yeah... don't you want her to pack real fast so she gets out before the "Why are you running away?" bit at the end? Don't let her see you cry, dude...

But if we're going to go with a definition of 'modern' that encompasses stuff from before I was born, then by all means:

and one from after because why not.

The feel good song....

Just solved a long time problem of "General model to extract premium if market shows any slight deviation from random walk?" . Funny thing, it's similar to a paper I once read that I can't remember what it's called or where it is.

Trying to help with a threadsaver but fear all is lost.

This one has a bunch of science stuff, likely for copyright reasons. Not to be harsh, but it is a song by a band no one has heard of that is better than 74% of the stuff in this thread.

Actually, I am tempted to make an SMP post about objectivity vs subjectivity in aesthetics. People talk almost uniformly in the language of objective aesthetics and then turn to mush as soon as they are questioned because "everyone knows"aesthetics is subjective. That is damn lazy. Aesthetics is more objective than people think.

Also, for those that fetishize economics, aesthetic value is either objective or we are fooling ourselves to an extent that makes even a limited theory of **** economics nearly absurd.

Why does this forum have some decent science content but the philosophy content more often than not sucks?

Jesus what a dirge. Not the worst song in the thread (hello, Lady In Red) but that's really not a good song, man.

It could use more cowbell, but what couldn't?

Dude, maybe you are not romantic enough.

I'm plenty romantic. There's a difference between romantic and mawkish.

Fairly sure it's bad form to hit the Pulp pipe twice in one thread, but you want romance?

The album version is frankly superior but you just can't get it on YT, seemingly.

No mention of one of the most prolific guitarists of the last decade?

Most of Buckethead's discography: ( see http://www.whosdatedwho.com/tpx_578435/buckethead/songs ; probably only misses some of this year's Pike albums ).

Some of his most popular tracks I've enjoyed:

Not to me, because I'm still a fan.

When I still played the piano the Wohltemperierte Klavier was one of by bravours. Often I speeded it up when playing

I am (deep down) a kind and thoughtful member of our little corner of the internet, but if this is the sort of song you like, perhaps it is best if you just go back to drinking heavily. Despite the hype, sometimes a mind is a wonderful thing to waste.

Same genre and even more romantic and less mawkish:

Because of that tendency I will take three shots a week . The other videos I've posted (except maybe for the Lady in Red) don't need chemicals.

This was once voted the best musical video ever on MTV. Maybe not very far from the truth. You don't need any mind expanders after this.
