They must be into football.

France are playing frighteningly well, despite my Croatian allegiances.

France or Belgium are the favorites now. Belgium is the silent killer. They havent lost in how many games now? Go for the one that hasnt lost recently. They have a streak going that they are making them feel like a team of destiny.

England must be favorites even then they wont be even if they win their next game.

<Rant>Can they stop going on about how ****ing fantastic England are. We've beaten Tunisia, Panama, Columbia and Sweden ffs and that took penalties, our goalie being man of the match and a last minute goal. Best result so far was losing to Belgium and the SMP 2nd team could have done that! </rant>

Playing how they've played, the French deserve it. I don't see them fairing well, however, if against Croatia - who beat Ruskis even with their state sponsored doping.

If it turns out Frogs Vs. Limeys, I purpose it be renamed the Vomit Cup.

Say what you want Europe had the better teams. Europe earned this by being superior.

Croatia played an efficient careful game of strength under adversity. France played very strong vs Argentina and Uruguay both strong teams traditionally and even this year, especially Uruguay, and eliminated a very strong, higher ranked long streak Belgian team. England also played very well in all this and has shown character and focus when needed that is superior to recent world cup appearances.

All finalists are well deserved.


I bet what Zeno doesnt like is that European football (vs each other in the continent in late stages) is tactical and not open risky game so it looks cowardice, measured at times and careful instead of the kind of risky wide open to adventure game like France vs Argentina was. It is not as flamboyant as say Latin American football tends to be. My father also traditionally supports Brazil for such reasons but this year liked Croatia too.
