I took out ice cream of fridge and on to a plate. I forgot about it and now some parts are fluid and some parts are firm.

Is it mostly fat or sugar in that fluid? It still tasted quite good but I didnt eat the fluid. This would lead me to believe the ice cream parts did not dissolve. But I am curious.

If you leave it out long enough it will all turn liquid. The same is true of an ice cube.

Read Descarte's third meditation and analyze his wax example.

I believe that all of your metaphysical inquiries on icecream will be answered there.
