copy graphs/images ?

I'd like to be able to copy a graph/image from an outside source and paste to written script on this site. Any help would be appreciated.
I went to the software forum but for some reason wasn't able to start a new thread in 'free software" but whatever.
Plan to write something as graphs/images would be extremely helpful rather than paragraphs of endless scripts.
