They receive more on hand outs in a year than I do working in two years.

And still they're less annoying than you.

You are not annoying to me. You are a challenge to convince you that your life is important. I will succeed of course.

But not in this thread! Take it to PM if you must. Thanks.

Apparently Zeno you do not find it a real philosophical and scientific challenge to convince someone of the value of life? It is disappointing as i find it a real important battle to be won with pure logic. In fact it is the very discussion itself that proves the point of the value if that discussion can result in some further education and understanding of our world.

I don't think my life is important but it's one of my most favourite things.

I think I must be shallow.

No. All I said was to take it to PM regarding Robin. It is not a topic for our 'confessions thread'. Thanks. Or start a thread on the value of life. That's all. Very simple.

I confess I can't believe it. Premier Tax Free (UK) LTD sent me a refund (actually a credit to my credit card). I purchased a coat and shirt in London and got a form to fill out, that also needed to get stamped by customs at exiting airport, for reimbursement of the VAT I paid. I did the deed not expecting a thing to happen - and behold! 25.90 pound sterling ($40.75 at then exchange rate) is sucked back out of the UK into an American pocket. Thanks guys. I'll buy you a great ale next time I'm in London. Who knew the limeys could be so - ah, Honest(?)!

Instead of buying more Goldman Sachs stock, I purchased additional shares of Blackrock.

I've been drooling over Russian oil stocks of late.

Unfortunately, I lost an i-phone on the tube last year.
Fortunately, it was handed in.
Fortunately, it was not password protected.
Fortunately, it had a few numbers on it such as Me -work; Me - home; Me - other mobile.

I got it back. I also regularly accidentally leave my dry cleaning on tubes or trains, and I always get that back as well.

I confess I hate people described in the article above I only hope they get cancer and die. If I can use my one time that would be it.

I'm talking about the article and how these people can get away with such things. I find it disgusting to be honest.

You guys are swell. Last summer in London we kept running into the same nice guy. It was kind of odd, and slightly annoying. Very cordial fella though. Even ran over the poor guy on his bike, but he apologized.

When I was 16, I was hit by a car just outside school, and broke my arm. Naturally, I apologised profusely, and told the driver I was fine. It was very inconsiderate of me to have been hit.

I then walked home - around 1.5 miles. My plan was to have a nice cup of tea before going to the hospital. Unfortunately, my parents seemed a bit alarmed about the broken arm thing, so I never got the tea. 😠

In retrospect, my behaviour was probably slightly British.
