Any GM who picks Barrett over Zion needs to be fired. We've seen a million Barretts before, some failed & some did well, we've never seen a Zion Williamson ever in the history of not only the NBA but mankind.

The bet would have to be something like win shares over the next 5 years.

Meanwhile Barrett is taking 22 shots a game & only scoring 25pts hahahah. LOL@Barrett being the #1 pick, it's just comical at how average Barrett is. Barrett is 6'6 200lbs, not an ethlete athlete, not long nor has elite athletic ability, he's literally nothing special.

Barrett is running the offense and getting all the assists setting up Zion.

On the Barrett train too. Watch him actually play, he's more polished. Game will translate easier but you guys get excited about a kid who can jump out of the gym, isn't going to shoot the 3 in a league that lives by it and will be playing with grown ass men faster than he is. That bully basketball only going to get you so far. Not saying Zion isn't a great player in the league he's currently in but he's no slam dunk pro.

FTR, I'm Team Barrett. But I'm also Team Zion.

They're both going to be legit NBA Stars IMO.

No need to pick one over the other; they both have super high ceilings with 2 completely different games.

The kid is Barkley with the grace of a ballerina. His foot work is already special.

Was skeptical myself and maybe it's just the competition but he absolutely smashes the eyetest.

Zion cannot shoot. He's got fultz level issues there from what I've seen.

Barrett is shooting 58% from the ft line & 30% from the college 3pt line, Barrett sucks as a shooter as well but is 10x less athletic & physical. Barrett is going to struggle in the NBA & he reminds me too much of Fultz for me to get excited about.

if someone this year reminded me of fultz this year they'd be the #2 pick - he's a joke now but afaik his shooting issues are basically unprecedented. shooting was a legitimate strength for him in college, and watching him now i'm pretty sure he'd be on a great trajectory if he could shoot. the handle / athleticism etc are all nba level easily

barrett, i don't really get excited watching him but he seems like a guy that probably deserves a pretty high pick because he's obv got some craft, and no huge holes in his game. that said the athleticism is good not great, and he is obviously a bit of a chucker - 40usg, 51ts is very lol esp on a stacked team like duke

RJ will NOT struggle once he gets in the League; he was the #1 HS player for a reason, plus, he has a good head on his shoulders and is very level headed. If there's a leak in his game, he (and his *team) will find it and fix it before we do. Let us not forget, he's still only 3 games into his freshman season.

* his father was a pro (Rowan) and his godfather is Steve Nash.

Good to see these numbers, but again, remember, he's only 3 games in.

What will Zion's FG% be for the year. I think it was 82% thru three games. LOL. I'll take 57%.

I'm not picking him for legend status at the next level. More a Larry Johnson than a LeBron.
