Great game by Zion, taking it right at the giant with speed, contact and double pumps. Where does Tacko go in the draft?

He probably doesn't

Some team will take a flyer on him in the latter part of the lottery.

Not in this thread as of yet.

Well played.

Who goes higher in the draft, Tacko or Cam Reddish?

Reddish no doubt.

Taco will struggle mightily on defense

I haven’t seen tacko in any draft boards.

I’m sure that’s what will actually happen. But Tacko crushed Zion inside for the most part and I’m willing to bet that Reddish never really has an NBA career. His shot is inconsistent and his drives totally predictable.

That's b/c most people thought a 7'6" man named Tacko was made up, but now that we know he's real he'll start showing up near the top of draft boards.

Tacko is a total stiff with near 0 chance of being effective in the NBA. He can just stand under the rim in college but that won’t work at the next level. His lateral quickness seems bad and he was a total foulbox with NCAA rules so he’ll likely be completely unplayable. He also can’t do anything but dunk on offense either.

Reddish has been fairly bad this year but also has a horrific coach and theoretically has a skill set that can translate to the NBA. He shoots 77% from the line so I don’t think his shot is totally broken.

Tacko's the only man in the world who can stop Zion so it's probably worth it for the team most likely to play Zion in the finals to bring him on board.

Strongly disagree. If he's paired with a 3-and-D like Raja Bell, you can trot out a very formidable Tacko-Bell duo.

Back to Zion news: Facing the TALLEST test of his life in Tacko Fall. This will give us more insight as to whether Zion is the future cant-miss GOAT or more likely to be merely a top 25 OAT NBA player.
So was Zion's dominance of Tacko indicative of a cant-miss GOAT?

Tacko blocked three of Zion’s shots and fouled Zion three or four times. I think Tacko gets drafted mid-second round and has a five or six year NBA career.

Everyone thought Yao Ming was a slouch, too.

Zion didn't dominate. Tacko was like +15 and blocked Zion 2-3 times. This is a bit concerning and now means that Zion could be anywhere from the GOAT to 25th best player of all-time, but definitely not a can't miss GOAT.

The good news is that every great hero needs a villain, and Zion now has his.

Shimmy, your thoughts on how many years it will take before Zion reenacts this?

Barkley bet that Yao would never score 19 in a game, and had to kiss Kenny Smith’s donkey (ass) as a result.

In a parallel universe Yao and McGrady win 3 championships together.
