The $58.25 million gives Sanchez the seventh-highest financial package among NFL quarterbacks, sources told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.

The article's kinda vague, but it sounds like he went from no guaranteed money to a guaranteed $20.5 million, and the overall value of the contract if it's played out went up by $40 million. That's just insanely ridiculous for someone who is almost definitely not a Top 30 QB asset.
