It was barely a double pass and still worked amazingly well.

I fee like there are so many cool things you could do, if only coaches had some imagination. For instance, throw a quick screen to a WR out wide and then have the other WR block downfield. If its a good block then run, if it's a bad block, then have the blocking WR release and the first WR just dump it to him.

I love the "no QBs in this league can pass" and "they should get the other QBs to not only catch but read the play and make quick time decisions.

The best play is likely to be one of those Mahomes/Stafford tap passes to the in motion RB who can run or pivot backwards to the lane as a fleaflicker of sorts.

Ratings are out for week 2. Did a 2.2 on ABC, so the XFL avoided the huge drop off that it suffered in 2001 of that the AAF suffered last year. That's pretty incredible news honestly. The Battlehawks game in STL is already sold out this week and Seattle's game last week saw over 29k show up. Pretty crazy.

It’s too bad the offense is so behind the defense in this league. Because if the talent of the players and practice time was equal XFL >>>>NFL IMO. The rules and the access to players, coaches and review booth is great

Jesus these players will likely get better as the talent pool expands to include some CFL talent and younger college players, but it's the coaches that are really going to hold this back. Punting on 4th and 1 against the Vipers is shameful.

Vipers sub out their QB for Flowers, a more mobile QB and in back to back interviews ask the benched QB what he needs to do to avoid getting benched in the future and the opposing coach what changes with Flowers and he response with "A lot, he's a real QB".

This is amazing.

Though it's a shame that one had to be a little sweat. Is flowers or whoever this corn dude is the QB now? He had this issue in chicago, not knowing who the better guy was in the first place and also not making up his goddamn mind.
