Yes, we should go by whatever the official website says, otherwise we will be open to a lot of subjective interpretation.

Btw, I don't see assists awarded on the own goals.
I believe Pogba and Mandzukic should have 1 assist each, but I believe they were not awarded?

I thought they were, but apparently not.
Fifa does not give assists for own-goals. They also didn't award them in the Fantasy game. So, Pogba gets 0 instead of 5 or 3.
