For those of you who are in the UK and want a fixtures guide for you calendar with the time and what channel it's on. The beeb have done a downloadable one that you just import, i've imported it to the calender on my iphone and it's easier than having to load the ITV app

Pretty much. SKY bought all games and RAI only bought some crumbles. Hell, even a radio ( RTL 102.5 ) managed to buy the rights for all games, while RAI was just cheap imo.

Lucky for me I have to full SKY pack, so I can see all the currently boring games.

Sad that so far, South Korea have scored the most goals this tournament.

This ball is so awful. Please prove me wrong Germany.

At least the refs have been shockingly non bad and very bizarre refereeing is a solid World Cup tradition after all.

I almost find myself missing it. At least in games where I'm a neutral.

I can definitely do without it where there is rooting interest though.

Anyway, still early days of course.

The best offensive teams still have to play imo. Spain, Brazil and Holland mainly. Germany, Chili and Paraguay should be better offensively than most teams we have seen so far as well.

Plus, there have been LOTS of scoring chances. Definitely some run bad that there haven't been more goals (maybe a lot more goals) scored so far. Ghana game could've been 3-2. Argentina could've scored like 4. Just a combo of good keeping (USA, Nigeria) and some bad luck.

the ball seems to fly wen you don't print enough speed in it and bounce ridiculously high and barely loses speed

gotta adjust to it ,it's not the first WC with a major ball improvement/change

The lack of flopping has been great also. Really some good clean games.

Definitely. Good god. I'd be willing to bet good money that if you did a real study you'd find little difference.

ESPN going overboard with Kilnsman. Hey Tirico...we get it: There's a lot of pressure in the World Cup. You don't need to ask Klinsman about that aspect so much. It was pretty much the same question 32 times in a row. Klinsman was having a tough time varying the same freaking answer so much.

You can't ask him about who his favorite teams are to watch, who are his sleeper teams or players? Anything? It has to be nonstop about "well, tell me some more about having to deal with this kind of incredible pressure...", "Oh wait, I heard that the pressure on these players representing their whole country can be immense. Is this true?"

Not terribly impressed with some of ESPN's studio stuff and the direction they take it.

They just said on ESPN that FIFA is considering banning them for the rest of the WC. Please let this happen!

Zero chance this happens now that the WC has started. They should have learned from last year but FIFA are run by a bunch of idiots.

Apparently they have been banned for the Rugby WC next year which is great news

i really think the stuff with the ball is overblown

yes we have seen it bounce slightly more than usual on occasions, but now pretty much every miscontrol, overhit/underhit/poorly hit ball is being blamed on it

which is obviously stupid

'Neil van Schalkwyk, the man credited with mass producing the ubiquitous vuvuzelas at this year’s World Cup, is also promoting a novelty earplug to help protect the hearing of those attending games at venues in South Africa.'

for anyone who entered my World Cup peehs game in POG, the reveal is under way.

Of course you won't know who won till the end of the tourney, but you can get some idea of whether you are in good shape and maybe some more players/teams to root for/against.

Just ban them after the 1st round of group stage, so no team can complain about they had a disadvantage other teams did not have.
